"Oh yeah. The consultants we hired at a gazillion dollars an hour were very firm on that point."

Yeah, we have a "cost cutting" consultant here who makes $450 an hour, and her suggestions have been things like, "When you print out samples, don't throw them away when you are done; flip them over and use the other side of the paper in the printer." Man, I can get that shit from the Timbertoes in Highlights magazine, and that's free at every dentist's office in America.
